Castle Hill – Sites I and L
CCE was employed to undertake all infrastructure, roads, drainage, parking areas, substructures and hard landscaping for phases I and L of the new homes development in Alkerden, part of Ebbsfleet Garden City.
Key Issues and how they were managed: These works were split into two independent parcels remote from each other so logistically, so deliveries had to be managed carefully to avoid potential storage and double handling issues. The site was also set on a very steep gradient so the programming and installation of retaining walls were key to attaining the necessary progress on site.
Successful Outcomes and Key targets and project measures: These works were completed ahead of schedule and within the initial cost plan.
