Today we held the first Chartway Group ‘Have A Go Day’ for some female members of our team.
As part of ‘Women in Construction Week’ they were out on our site at Stones Farm, Bapchild, trying out a variety of trades: bricklaying, ‘setting out’ painting & decorating and plumbing.
We are passionate about promoting ‘women in construction,’ and the incredible range of job roles available, and that it’s a fantastic career.
There are Apprenticeships for a huge range of the trades on site. And, working in the office isn’t just about admin roles, although we can’t manage without our amazing support teams, there’s planning, technical, QS, accountancy and customer services to name just a few.
Construction is a great career and we are proud to be supporting ‘Women in Construction Week’; today’s event has strengthened our ties even more with our great team of on-site colleagues too.
