Chartway Civil Engineering assisted Chartway Partnerships Group with design, commercial and programme aspects of the development, producing a Material Management Plan in accordance with CL:AIRE (Contaminated Land: Applications in Real Environments) protocols for working on a contaminated site.
Scope of Works
Section 38 Works – Construction of Adoptable Section 38 road and footpath from Caesar’s Way. We are also constructing the roads within the development to an adoptable standard with deep foul and surface water drainage beneath the road structure.
Main Works – The development of 77 dwellings for including pile mats, piling, speed deck slabs large attenuation tanks, on a site with historic contamination. The site is a fast paced build with road construction and house plots followed by external works and soft play areas.
