Marian Vian Primary School
CCE undertook the highways and surfacing works on behalf our client, BBS Construction who was appointed main contractor for the internal refurbishment works of a detached former adult education building, to create a children’s nursery within the grounds of Marian Vian Primary School in Beckenham.
Externally, works were required to create a nursery play area and an extension of the existing staff car park.
Additionally, there was a requirement for an external pupil drop off bay to be constructed by way of alterations to the existing school boundary and playground, along with alterations to the existing public highway and pavement.
It was imperative to the school that they must be able to continue to operate throughout the contract period during term time, therefore it was essential to plan works for minimal disruption to our client.
