Mote Park visitor centre
CCE completed the groundworks and surfacing packages for our client, BBS Construction, for this prestigious D&B project within Mote Park in the heart of Maidstone town centre, on behalf of Maidstone Borough Council.
Involved from the design stages, CCE worked alongside the main contractor, BBS, and the rest of the design team and local council to ensure that best value was sought for the project and a successful outcome was achieved with the local planning authority.
The project included demolishing the existing dated Mote Park cafe building, out-grown estates service building and deteriorating public toilet block and comprised of the construction of a new cafe, bin storage, additional car parking facilities, new toilet block, including flexible function and learning space, in addition to the construction of a new storage facility, mess and welfare building for the park maintenance team and external soft and hard landscaping.
